Prohibited and Restricted Items

Examples of items that cannot be sent under international postal and air transport rules.

Below are some examples (not a complete list) of items that cannot be sent. Items not listed may also be impossible to send.

Almost the same rules apply to sea mail as to air mail. If you are not sure, please contact us before you buy or ship.

If an item not on the list, or an item we cannot send, arrives

  • Even if an item is not on the list, we may decide that it cannot be sent because of shipping rules. In that case, we will contact you.
  • If an item we cannot send arrives, after talking with you we will either return it to the shop you bought it from (return shipping etc. paid by you) or dispose of it. If we do not receive a reply or payment of the return shipping within 7 days of contacting you, we will dispose of it.
  • For products with built-in batteries, we remove the battery and ship only the product, as long as the battery can be removed (simple removal and battery disposal are free; if removal is difficult and needs an outside specialist, we will tell you first and charge the actual cost). If you do not accept the removal cost, we will return the item to the shop if possible (return shipping etc. paid by you). If it cannot be returned, or if we do not receive a reply or payment of the return shipping within 7 days of contacting you, we will dispose of it. If you have a problem, please contact us early. Items whose battery cannot be removed cannot be sent.
  • If a parcel we shipped comes back and needs to be sent again, you pay the actual cost of resending.
